The Path of Fortune is a legend of a path with much treasure along the way at certain checkpoints. It was mapped out by a man. He was killed. The party found his journal which tells the way in code.

The first checkpoint is the Wind Temple. It is accessed through solving a riddle then being teleported near the temple.
